What exactly is the business of being Married to SEO? Damn if I know.
I had an idea years ago to document this crazy life we lead and after a few other website names, I kept coming back to always saying to people that, I am married to SEO. Our life is built on the SEO industry. Our vacations are planned around the SEO community. Every single thing that we have in our life is because of my husband’s career in SEO. It is the constant in our life. It has been a part of us since we officially became an us in the early 2000s.
One thing I will say for all those newbies who have no idea what SEO is, it is not Search Engine Optimization Optimization. That’s an annoyance if you ask anyone who knows anything about SEO.
SEO is simply Search Engine Optimization.
So, again for those newbies, I am also a newbie. I may have 15 years under my belt being with Ian, but I never felt the need to pay attention to EVERYTHING he was doing. I now have been told I should have, but the past is the past and we can’t change it. However, I can change going forward and that is where I find myself these days, tagging along and learning all about his world, all about the business of SEO.
And so that leads me to this, MarriedtoSEO.com. Why not take everyone along in my journey to learn what he does and his journey to continue to do what he loves. The reality is, I am not just a housewife living in the South, I am 100% involved in everything that he does because what he does is how we do life, and not going to lie – it’s a spectacular life and an adventure.
